Taiwanese saddle producer, All-Wings, has launched the EVO 4.0 Super Hornet to its line-up of radical-looking bicycle saddles. This one is positioned as a saddle for ultra-endurance driving; journeys the place distance exceeds 150 km, and for riders who preferring to do away with a chamois. It is the first All-Wings saddle to function built-in EVA foam, positioned completely at the sit bone area both facet of a deep cut-out area at the middle. Here’s what we all know to this point.
All-Wings EVO 4.0 Super Hornet
The EVO 4.0 weighs in at a claimed 190g, constructed with a Nylon platform on a one-piece CrMo rail, with a light-weight EVA foam at the sit bone space. It doesn’t change the original non-padded Falcon saddle first proven at Taipei Cycle Show again in 2019. This one is barely smaller and lighter than the EVO 3.0 Falcon, with a size of simply 13.5 cm and a width of 28 cm. Stack peak from the rail to the high of the saddle is 7 cm. The most rider weight is 100 kg.
The EVO 4.0 Super Hornet saddle could be ridden in what All-Wings name Battle Mode, or Grand Touring Mode, referring to rides of 150 km per day, and 300 km per day, respectively. Battle mode is basically naked, with the Grand Touring Mode together with 5mm EVA foam, stated to remove the want for a chamois.

The sit bone area is located simply inboard of the “outer rail”, allowing some extent of vertical flex between the weight bearing portion and the central area clamped to the seat submit
