Guided Tours

discover the hidden gems of spain with our local guides

Our favourite tours are where we get to spend time with you, guiding you through two regions of Spain we know like the back of our hand. Thanks to our local guides' endless enthusiasm to uncover hidden gems and teach us about the things they are so passionate about, we believe cycle touring with them is the best way to experience a Bacchus tour.

If you would like to join us for a fully supported tour, or perhaps have the helping hand of a local guide at certain times during your days in Spain, please let us know and we will make sure we tailor a trip that meets your every expectation.

The Empordà region of Catalonia is a very special place, and even more so when visiting on a bicycle. The overnight locations are charming, and for a trip combining cycling with wine tasting, olive oil tasting and fine food then this region is perfect. The team at Bacchus looked after us extremely well, providing delicious lunches en route, mouth-watering meals each evening and some entertaining support.

where VELO & VITICULTURE collide

Balance between time in and out of the saddle is important. Our guided tours find the overlap between fantastic cycle touring and a handpicked selection of our favourite epicurean experiences.

We pride ourselves on unearthing the hidden gems of each destination; the great wine, local cuisine and people you meet along the way. We like to think you probably wouldn't find these places if it wasn't for our local guides ;)

expose all your senses

Eat, drink, laugh, see, sweat. We want you to come away from a Bacchus tour feeling like you've experienced it all. And there is no better way to experience it all than on a bike. As Hemingway said, 'it is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best..."

Bacchus tours are about more than just cycling - our local guides have spent time in each region uncovering hidden gems and nurturing relationships with the people and places we visit, so you leave feeling like you're a local too.
