A Taste of Bacchus in Devon

One-day epicurean cycle tour in the South West

join bacchus for the south west outdoor festival

On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October, we will be giving SWOF-goers a taste of Bacchus, exploring the epicurean pitstops of Soar, Salcombe and the South Hams.

Rolling out of East Soar at 10AM each morning, you will be guided on a 25-30 mile route that wends along peaceful backroads through the surrounding hills and spectacular Devon coastline, interrupted only by a delicious lunch, voluptuous views and other local treats.

On return to the South West Outdoor Festival at 3PM, enjoy a well-deserved Salcombe (Gin) & Tonic while our in-house chef, Edmund Kendall, knocks up a mouth-watering paella – the signature dish of our flagship destination in Northeastern Catalonia, the Empordà.

The perfect blend of epicurean experiences and cycle touring in charismatic corners of Europe that have everything – fascinating history, fine wine, delicious food and jaw dropping vistas.
